NEW WORLD
STORY
Split Earth is a sci-fi fantasy story set in the future, when half of the earth is ruled by a blazing menace, while the other half harbours the remaining human bases. Brave souls are sent forward to explore lost civilisations and rescue those who were once left behind.
Only a select number of female Warriors can defeat the enemy with Dark Stone blades, weapons that must be constantly nourished by male blood. Thus, each Warrior is always paired with her Cultivator while going into dangerous missions.
Our story follows Zerly (codename "Sprite") and her team when they go across hemispheres, landing on a land of constant sunlight, to begin a perilous journey.

JOEY YU
Published author of 4 novels and 1 bestselling nonfiction book in Asia. Bilingual writer for games, comic, and recently film projects. Winner of George R. R. Martin's inaugural Terran Award. Commissioned bilingual writer for Riot Games (League of Legends Universe). Born in Taipei, grown up in Vancouver, and currently residing in Shanghai.
Comic / Character Design
ZEPHYR Z.
Painted for major sci-fi IPs such as the cover of Chinese version of a Star Wars novel, and a poster for the Three-Body Problem Universe. Specialized in character and custom designs in sci-fi & fantasy settings. Experienced in development of MMORPGs and animations in major Chinese firms such as Perfect World Games. Also an amateur archer.
Art Direction
MONICA DING
Professional artist with a diverse range of influences and styles. Fields of study including drawing, illustration, 2D design, animated effects, and pottery art. Expert in oriental philosophy and aesthetics. Paints with two cats on her laps, and lives the life of a pseudo botanist.
